After the success of Madrid, the Mart offers a major international exhibition that tells in 80 masterpieces of Italian masters who lived between the end of 800 and the beginning of ' 900.
The exhibition at Mart
The exhibition, which includes masterpieces from the collections of Mart and prestigious public and private loans, recounts the origins and development of Divisionism, which played a key role in the Italian artistic renewal in late ' 800 and ' 900, finding his ideal in the Futurist avant-garde.

Divisionism stated in 1891 at Triennale of Brera, with the first exit "publish" a group of young painters: #Segantini, Pellizza da Volpedo, Morbelli, Lao, supported by Vittore Grubicy de Dragon. Starting from a Visual revolution arising from scientific discoveries on the decomposition of color and focused on the expressive power of light, may also change the subjects painted, thesis towards modernity in themes depicted ranging from social content, in an Italy recently United still looking for their own cultural identity, more lyrical subjects related to the international trend of Symbolism.
Futurism
On the revolutionary force of this new poetry and its technical basis was created, at the beginning of ' 900, Futurism, avant-garde movement created by the poet Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, who bursts onto the art scene in 1910 with the Manifesto dei pittori Boccioni, Balla, Carrà, Russolo and Severini.
