Will be Tosca, one of the most beautiful and famous operas composed by Giacomo Puccini, but also one of the most dramatic, protagonist of the 2016 Edition of the Opera project. Heart and soul of the Festival is the Euritmus, this year engaged courageously in the dissemination of music and culture.
Symphony concert at the opening bell of the fallen – Thursday, 21 April at 19:45
The traditional symphonic concert, hosted in very exceptional cases on the Hill of Miravalle, in front of the Bell of the fallen, where Alpine Orchestra conducted by maestro Shenka Luo will perform works by Beethoven, like the striking Symphony nr. 3 called the heroic and Tchaikowsky, 1821 Overture, which commemorates the attempted French invasion of Russia, and the consequent devastating retreat of Napoleon's army. The latter, in particular, is known for the sequence of 11 guns with blanks based on what is stated in the original score of Tchajkowsky. The musical score will be taken up on the Hill of Miravalle from chimes of the Bell Maria Dolens, which inneggeranno to peace and end of belligerence. Free admission: the concert is offered by Oleifcio f. Costa Trambileno, which celebrates this year the 200th anniversary of the Foundation.
